Hiya! I am VioletStorm! My pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a multi-genre DJ/Performing Artist who loves doing live musical creation and live edits! I love blending and creating with progressive genres, and I love story telling and exploration through music. I also love dancing. My performance style was influenced by Jambands/Jamtronica that I used to listen to a lot back in the day, so you can expect a large amount of improvisation and freestyle elements; playing layered tracks as instruments within songs, and adding live/keys and synth at the perfect times, creating a truly unique EDM experience. 

VioletStorm (Taygeta Rose Payan) is also a proud Co-Owner of The Astrl Prjkt.

Some comments I've heard people say about my shows; "The vibeeeeeeeeees" "I feel like I'm floating" "That was unexpected" "what the f---- was that??" and "it felt like flying or driving really fast through a futuristic metropolis with a sort of intoxicating excitement" "She truly is her own genre" "That was f**n crazy!" VioletStorm has an unique performance/setup which she calls the MainFrame:

MainFrame Set: Uses her touch screen computer, specialized controller, and keyboard/synth for full creative freedom, allowing her to do all her edits/flips/mashups etc Live, allowing for a full scope of improvisation and other live techniques to occur.

Rider Info for Talent Buyers/Promoters:

1."VioletStorm" is to be spelled as such stated in parenthesis, no spaces and Capital V and S if on any applicable announcements or flyers

2. Please provide a minimum of 2 water bottles during show, and please make sure there is Red Bull or equivalent available on the premises.

3. For lighting, please no bright blue colored lights shining at artist, and VioletStorm prefers UV/Purple/Violet lights/lasers to be used most when available

4. Equipment: Venue must provide space and 900NXS2 or equivalent mixer for VioletStorm to hook up her proprietary set up of Touch Screen Computer, mini mixer/loop pads/touch pad, mini keyboard (table that V.S. has is 36 inches wide and 24 inches deep so please make sure this can fit and can be slid up to the decks as she is about to begin). Not using this set up is non negotiable.
